One Day in AprilPoster for Film

This film about the Little 500 race was made by two IU alumni. The film has been in several festivals and is working on a deal with Netflix. Members working on this account create strategic plans for national promotion for the film. Learn more about the film here.



Music Industry Networking Club at IUMINC

This is a group of students looking to one day enter the music industry, either in management or as artists themselves. This
organization has a public relations committee, so members on this account act as an advisory board to the group. This may include giving PR workshops, creating a strategic plan for the group or consulting the group on PR decisions.

Crimson Clovers Irish DanceClover Logo

The Crimson Clovers Irish Dance Club is a new group of Irish dancers on campus. Many of the performers in this group have competed at the world level, and some have toured with professional shows. This group wants to improve its reputation as an Irish dance club to be on par with those at Notre Dame University and Dayton University, so Irish dancers will consider IU when choosing  a college. This committee is a combination of national promotion, event promotion and website development. Learn more about the group here.

Ryan Academy of Irish Dance

The Ryan Academy of Irish Dance is a new organization in Bloomington offering traditional Irish dance classes to children and adults. The Ryan Academy has performed across Bloomington at events like the Monroe County Fair and Lotus World Music and Arts Festival. It is the only Irish dance school between Louisville and Indianapolis. PRSSA members help develop the school’s website by producing promotional videos. The committee also maintains social media accounts and implements creative methods for teaching Bloomington residents what Irish dance is. Visit the school’s website here.
