Ketchum, which is ranked one of the top 5 best PR agencies in the world, has created a crowd-sourcing program called Mindfire.
Students involved in this program are afforded the chance to work with some of the top household name brands including, Nike, FedEx, IKEA, Wendy’s, Snapple, Frito Lay, Google, and Nestle. Students are presented weekly client challenges in which they are asked to come up with a solution, idea, or mini PR campaign. At the end of the client challenge, one submission will be chosen and its creator will be given a $100 prize. Other incentives include webinars with Ketchum executives, career advice, and networking opportunities. The committee only meets once a semester. All other work is done independently.
